Catering

There are a wide variety of catering services from which to choose. A caterer can be hired to prepare and serve the food at your event. Or you can find one that has everything pre-made so that you can just pick it up and go!

Your decision will completely depend on what will be more convenient for you and your guests. 

You should consider the number of people going on the trip (as well as any vegetarians among them) when deciding on a menu or a theme. For instance, BBQ might not be the best choice if there are only 10 guests and one of them is a vegetarian who will go hungry while everyone else feasts on grilled meat. It’s definitely not what you want for your dinner cruise. 

Bring your own booze.

We’ll let you in on a little secret: Thames Party Boats encourages guests to bring their own booze to all of their events, which we acknowledge is a bit of a crafty move. Essentially, everyone should bring champagne if you want them to enjoy the perfect drink they love. This can be a spirit, beer, or wine. It doesn’t matter. The fact that they are buying their own booze means there’s less trouble for you and more excitement at the party because everyone will have exactly what they prefer. 

We also have a great selection of liquors for sale at the bar onboard if you’re looking for something more celebratory than red or white wine, but don’t worry if wine isn’t your thing.

Our advice? You should also bring rehydration drinks to ensure that everyone stays hydrated throughout the day.

Remember to Bring the Cutlery!

You also need to stock up on disposable plates and cups. We advise using disposable tableware such as paper plates, plastic cups, napkins, and paper towels of high quality. When guests help themselves from the buffet, they’ll appreciate having serving spoons on hand. To keep things tidy as you go, grab a few trash can liners. 

Cute plastic wine glasses or champagne flutes are also a great way to go all out with the holiday theme.
